ROM-based GPS module

Quectel’s L70-R is a new low-cost, ROM-based GPS module pin-to-pin compatible with the company’s L70 and L76 modules. With its compact size of 10,1 x 9,7 x 2,5 mm, it is suitable for a broad range of M2M applications such as portable device, fleet management, personal tracking, security and industrial PDA. The device’s sensitivity is -165 dBm in tracking mode, during which it consumes just 13 mA, and -148 dBm during acquisition. Its list of features includes 66 acquisition/22 tracking channels and up to 210 PRN channels, built-in logging functionality, Always Locate, anti-jamming, multi-tone active interference canceller, and support for DGPS and space based augmentation systems (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS/GAGAN).
